BreadButter Pro is a subscription billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in INR for customers in India (plus GST) or USD for customers elsewhere, through our payment processor Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. There is no free trial: the free plan is free indefinitely, and nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

For recurring payments in India set up over UPI Autopay, cards or net-banking mandates, your bank sends a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each charge, and you can modify, pause or cancel the mandate at any time in the Service or with your bank or UPI app.

Cancel at any time in Settings → Billing, or by cancelling the mandate with your bank. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then move to the free plan. Your content is not deleted when you cancel or downgrade.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partly used periods. That said, we review refund requests case by case: if you were charged in error, hit a serious problem with the Service, or are genuinely unsatisfied, write to support@thebreadbutter.com within 7 days of the charge with your account email and payment reference.

If we approve a refund it is issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval; your bank may take a little longer to show it. Approved refunds of Indian payments are accompanied by a credit note and GST is adjusted accordingly.

We may decline requests made after the 7-day window, repeated refund claims, or requests where our Terms or Community Standards were breached.

Duplicate payments, and amounts charged for transactions that failed, are refunded in full — write to support with the payment reference.
