Shaan is a Nashville-based producer, string player, and arranger who moves between genres like most people move between rooms. Originally from NYC, he's built a serious body of work, producing and playing strings for various artists, with his own tracks "Pink + White" pulling 250K+ Spotify streams and "The Brothers Go To Mothers" landing on the Dinner at Mancini's compilation. On SoundCloud, his range is staggering: jazz, classical, R&B, pop, indie, folk, dance, and even reggae, with collaborations alongside Theo Kandel, Chance The Rapper, Two Friends, and Taylor Baltazar. He's written, produced, and arranged across all of it. His Spotify describes him simply as "producer and string player for various artists," but that undersells it. He's also a vocalist, a session musician, and a freelance violinist. He curates two Spotify playlists that tell the story: "discography" and "Written By Shaan Ramaprasad." The range is the point.
